We are a welding, fabrication and engineering business with two locations (Tewkesbury & Bredons Norton GL20) looking to expand our production capacity. We are looking for a General Operative to join our team and help our production move more efficiently.
Supplying the agricultural and information security industries, you will be responsible for a wide range of workshop duties including, but not limited to, machine operation, drilling, sawing, tapping, picking, packing and other general workshop duties.

Typical Responsibilities will include those listed above as well as:
- Work planning – Ensuring you are staying ahead of required parts and working with the unit supervisors to make sure jobs are completed in time and as required.
- Loading and Unloading of lorries.
- Goods in.
- Warehouse cleaning. Making sure all areas are safe and clean.
- Working with some hand tools and saws.
- Some assembly work.
Skills, Knowledge and experience:
- Manual handling of parts.
- Forklift license required.
- Experience in a workshop environment, ideally in the metalworking industry is a bonus but not essential.
- Ability to manage the workload and plan ahead for your next task with a supervisor.
- Have a good eye for detail and able to work in a methodical manner to a high level of quality.
- Able to do some repetitive work to the same standard, consistent quality, consistent times.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: £13.00-£15.00 per hour
