Leap Ahead @ Ulceby is an established local, small day nursery located in the centre of Ulceby.
We opened in April 2022 & currently care for 37 children from birth to 5.
We are looking for a driven, motivated qualified Early Years Practitioner who will embed the company’s ethos around providing a high quality, child-led approach to early years childcare & education, where holistic opportunities are given for children to develop a lifelong love of learning around the companies educational programme, whilst leading a small team of P/School staff including an apprentice.
The ideal candidate will have a minimum of a level 3 Early Years Childcare qualification & have post qualifying experience. Ideal skills include a knowledge of the EYFS, child development, SEN is an advantage by not essential. More importantly the ideal candidate must be an inspiring 'Play Partner' to our children. You must have a great imagination, want to build huge constructions, get messy, dress up, get wet & fly to the moon in a rocket & dont been asked cheeky personal questions !!!!!
Our curriculum encourages children leading there own learning, a strong emphasis on nature & real life experiences, children fully engaging in their community & preparing the child for the next stage in their learning.
Safeguarding & Health & Safety knowledge is desirable, however full training will be given. A proven desire to promote teamwork within the Leap Ahead 'family', embed a sustainability ethos & a sense of community with everyone who uses the nursery.

Min of 35+ hours per week, 5 day working week between the opening hours of 7.30am-6pm
