(Temporary - Maternity Cover)
Dates: 3rd August 2026-1st January 2027
Hours: 40 hours – Monday to Friday 8.30-5pm
Salary - £26,500 (pro-rata to the length of the contract)
There is also on call which is paid extra:
One evening a week paid at £15 per night and one in four weeks will be 2 evenings 5.00pm-8.30am
One in four weekends on call Friday 5.00pm through to Monday 8.30am paid at £250. Any care calls carried out during on call are paid at a separate hourly rate
The care Co-ordinator job is one of the hardest roles in the office environment and is so much more than just assigning calls. You must be able to juggle several situations at once, be able to think outside of the box, to build strong relationships with the team, the clients and their families and be able to organise yourself so you are one step ahead. All training required for the role will take place before you take over the role to enable a smooth handover.

As a Care Coordinator, you will play an integral part in the daily communications of our office. You must be extremely personable as you will be liaising with our clients and the care team to ensure all our valued Clients needs are met. This role is extremely fast paced and requires someone truly dedicated and able to remain positive and professional when working under pressure.
The co-ordinator is responsible for:
Day to day scheduling and ensuring all calls are covered
Covering sickness and organising annual leave
Templating rota’s and sending out weekly rotas
Increasing and decreasing care packages, setting up new care packages
Presenting to the team in team meetings
Organising meetings with team members to discuss hours
Building rota’s and the rounds ensuring we are reducing travel and mileage for the team
Organising shadows and introductions and being able to correctly match the team to our clients
Clear communication to staff, clients and their families surrounding time changes
Taking client enquiries and arranging the assessment
Arranging Love to Move picks ups and drop off’s with our volunteer
Completing Return to Work interviews with the team
Managing current availability for clients to ensure building of hours
Being able to recognise where we need more staff, booking in interviews
What skills you will need:
Being able to be flexible to cover care calls at short notice or work outside of the normal office hours
Confident to talk in front of the team at team meetings
Excellent customer service and communication
Has the desire to make a real difference and greatly improve an already well-established business
Self-motivated
Extremely well organised, excellent planning and prioritising ability with high attention to detail
Ability to establish and maintain effective professional working relationships
Strong administration skills and ability to manage multiple work loads
