We are looking for a friendly and reliable Garden Centre Assistant to join our team.
This role is ideal for someone who enjoys working with customers, is happy to turn their hand to a variety of tasks, and can also support our online operation.
Hours
- Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday 9.00am – 3.00pm
- Every other Saturday and Sunday: 9.00am – 3.00pm
Pay
- £12.71 per hour (other rates apply for under 21)
.Key Responsibilities:
- Receiving and processing incoming stock efficiently
- Merchandising our Christmas Stock
- Assisting with seasonal set up and being comfortable to work in a fast pace environment
- Keeping seasonal stock replenished and looking its best throughout the year
- Providing excellent customer service, confidently engaging with customers about our furniture, seasonal products, and services
- Supporting the team to meet daily targets in a busy retail environment
- Picking & Packing for our online website

- Ability to work in a fast-paced, physically active role
- Willingness to learn new skills, including furniture assembly
- Strong communication and customer service skills
- Confidence in speaking with customers and promoting products
- A team player who is adaptable and ready to take on new challenges
- Basic IT confidence and willingness to learn online systems and courier platforms
