JOB ADVERT MANAGER
Job Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and knowledgeable Specialist Forestry Arb Manager to implement and oversee forestry and arboriculture projects. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing a variety of tasks related to forestry and arboriculture. The position involves hands-on work and project management/ organisation and ensuring ongoing productivity and management of a team of operators.
Responsibilities
- Oversee and coordinate forestry and arboriculture operations,
- Oversee the operations of mechanical equipment for example excavators, tree handlers, chainsaws and MEWPs,
- Management of a team of operatives,
- Implement good forestry and arboricultural practice,
- Ensure all work complies with safety regulations and environmental policies,
- Communicate with customers as part of ongoing project management,
Experience
- Mechanical knowledge related to the operation and maintenance of excavators, tree handlers, tractors and machinery,
- Experience of managing small teams and overseeing projects from start to finish,
- Knowledge of environmental conservation practices within forestry or arb management roles.
- Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
- Relevant qualifications or certifications in arboriculture or related fields are advantageous but not essential.

Pay: Up to £250.00 per day
