About Us
Lovesofas is a rapidly growing, £15m turnover e-commerce retailer soon opening a new office in Manchester. We operate two successful direct-to-consumer websites and maintain a powerful multi-channel footprint across the UK’s biggest marketplaces, including Amazon, Wayfair, B&Q, and Tesco. As we continue to scale, we are looking for a sharp, numbers-driven Graduate Data Analyst to turn raw data into commercial growth.
The Role
This isn't a passive data-entry role. You will sit at the heart of our commercial operations, directly influencing how we spend our marketing budgets, optimize our websites, and manage our inventory. You will look across all our platforms to find patterns, highlight inefficiencies, and suggest improvements.
Key Responsibilities
- Website Optimization: Analyze user journeys, click-through rates (CTR), and conversion rates across our two core websites to drive Conversion Rate Optimization (CRO) initiatives.
- Marketing Performance: Track and report on SEO health and digital advertising costs, ensuring our return on ad spend (ROAS) remains highly profitable.
- Multi-Channel Analytics: Consolidate and analyze sales data from Amazon, Wayfair, B&Q, and Tesco to identify top-performing products and platform-specific trends.
- Inventory & Stock Planning: Work closely with our operations team to forecast weekly and seasonal demand, ensuring we maintain optimal stock levels without over-ordering.
- Reporting: Maintain and improve automated performance dashboards to give management a crystal-clear view of daily trading metrics.
What We Are Looking For
- A recent graduate with a degree in Mathematics, Statistics, Economics, Data Analytics, or a similar quantitative discipline.
- An absolute wizard in Microsoft Excel / Google Sheets (you should love Pivot Tables and data manipulation).
- Familiarity with Google Analytics (GA4) or digital marketing concepts (CTR, CPC, ROAS) is highly desirable.
- An exposure to or willingness to learn SQL, Power BI, or Looker Studio.
- A commercially minded individual who doesn't just pull numbers but asks "what does this mean for the business?"
- Excellent communication skills to translate complex data into clear action points.
What We Offer
- Competitive starting salary with bonus scheme
- Direct mentorship from senior leadership in a fast-paced £15m business.
- Real autonomy—your insights will directly shape the company's trading strategy.
- Generous employee discount scheme
- Modern Manchester office
