We are seeking an ambitious, compassionate and highly skilled Band 7 GRACE Nurse to lead the delivery of an innovative, trauma-informed sexual and reproductive health model across Leicestershire and Rutland. This is a unique opportunity for an experienced practitioner to combine advanced clinical practice with outreach, service development, leadership and population health improvement.
About the role
As our GRACE Nurse, you will work as an autonomous advanced practitioner, providing expert contraception and sexual health care while acting as a trusted link between NHS services, community organisations, public health teams and local authority partners.
You will support women aged 16+ through an accessible, person-centred service, helping to improve outcomes and reduce health inequalities for those who are often underserved by traditional healthcare models.
This is not just a clinical role.
You will have the opportunity to:

Deliver complex contraception and sexual health care

Undertake implant and coil fitting and removal

Provide trauma-informed support to women with complex needs

Develop innovative outreach approaches and community partnerships

Lead on service improvement and transformation

Analyse service data to influence future service development

Support and develop a Band 3 Healthcare Assistant within a "grow your own" workforce model

Work closely with Public Health and strategic partners to improve access and outcomes across the local system.
Who we're looking for

Registered General Nurse
-
FSRH Diploma
-
Competency and experience in implant and coil fitting and removal
-
STIF Intermediate Competency (or willingness to work towards)

Full driving licence and access to a vehicle.

Independent Nurse Prescriber qualification

Outreach sexual health experience

Experience working with hard-to-reach populations
-
Teaching, mentoring or leadership experience.
