Mechanical Site Manager – 4 Month Contract Role

Dodd Group is seeking a fully qualified Mechanical Site Manager to oversee mechanical works across three assisted-living sites in the Leicestershire and Worcestershire areas.
The successful candidate will be responsible for supervising and coordinating works across sites comprising 55+ properties, ensuring projects are delivered safely, efficiently and to a high standard.
Key Responsibilities
- Oversee mechanical works across three assisted-living sites.
- Supervise and coordinate works within centralised plant rooms.
- Manage and oversee planned upgrades and mechanical installations across all sites.
- Coordinate the installation and commissioning of new BMS panels.
- Oversee Heat Interface Unit (HIU) installations within individual domestic dwellings.
- Supervise radiator valve replacements throughout the properties.
- Coordinate site activities with subcontractors, engineers and other trades.
- Ensure all works are completed in accordance with relevant specifications, regulations and health & safety requirements.
- Monitor workmanship, progress, quality and programme across all three sites.
- Liaise with the project management team, clients and other stakeholders to ensure successful delivery.
- This role involves supervising the project from start to finish, ensuring that all installations are completed.
About You
We are looking for an experienced and fully qualified Mechanical Site Manager with a strong background in mechanical building services, ideally with experience in:
Plant room installations and upgrades
- HIU installations
- Heating systems and radiator controls
- BMS installations and upgrades
- Working within occupied residential or assisted-living environments
- Supervising mechanical contractors and site teams
- Managing multiple sites and coordinating works to programme
- Enhanced DBS (Essential)
- SSSTS or SMSTS (Essential)
- First Aid (Essential)
The successful candidate will be organised, proactive and confident in managing site-based mechanical activities while maintaining excellent standards of safety, quality and communication.
