It’s not what you know. It’s who you are.
You don’t need years of care experience to make a difference. You need something far more important — a genuine heart for people.
We can teach you the skills. We can give you the training. We can support you every step of the way. But compassion, kindness and the desire to make someone’s day a little better? That comes from within.
That’s why we’re looking for special people to join our outstanding team at Home Instead Bristol, a family-owned home care provider and a Top 20 West Country home care provider.
Whether you’re looking for part-time work or are hoping to build towards full-time hours, this could be the opportunity you’ve been waiting for.
More than care. It’s someone’s life.
Role Overview: As a Care Professional, you’ll help our clients continue living life their way, in the place they call home.
From helping them feel safe and comfortable, to supporting them with everyday tasks, hobbies, outings and the things that matter most to them, you’ll be there to make a real difference.
And because great care takes time, every visit is a minimum of one hour. No rushing in and out. No ticking boxes. Just genuine time to connect, listen and care.
There’s no uniform either. Just come as yourself.
If you’ve got the heart to care, we’ll teach you everything else.

What do staff say about working with us?
“I came into Home Instead at the age of 51 after having never worked for anyone other than myself. I was made to feel welcome from the very first phone call.
Everyone I have met has been friendly, caring, supportive and encouraging, and I have learnt so much after my first year. Home Instead's commitment to providing quality care is beyond doubt, and something I am happy and proud to uphold and get behind.
I would encourage anyone to give it a go; you won't be disappointed! It's such a lovely feeling to know that I am making a positive difference to people's lives.”
