We are seeking a hands-on and experienced Warehouse Manager to lead and support our warehouse operations across B2B, e-commerce, and retail fulfilment. This role blends practical warehouse work—such as lifting, loading, and forklift operation—with leadership responsibilities, ensuring the warehouse operates efficiently, safely, and in line with company standards.
Key Responsibilities
- Oversee warehouse operations: Manage all aspects of warehouse activity, including shipping, receiving, inventory management, and order fulfilment across B2B, e-commerce, and retail channels to ensure smooth, efficient operations.
- Lead and develop the team: Supervise, coach, and train warehouse staff, fostering a motivated, productive, and safety-conscious team that consistently meets operational targets.
- Hands-on warehouse support: Actively participate in warehouse tasks when needed, including lifting goods up to 25kg, operating forklifts, and loading/unloading deliveries to support the team and maintain workflow.
- Coordinate logistics and supply chain: Work closely with third-party logistics providers and internal departments to optimise supply chain processes and ensure timely delivery of goods.
- Drive continuous improvement: Identify opportunities to enhance warehouse efficiency, reduce costs, and improve workflow through process improvements and operational initiatives.
- Maintain accurate inventory records: Ensure precise tracking of shipping, receiving, and stock levels to guarantee inventory accuracy across all channels.
- Monitor performance and KPIs: Track key performance indicators and lead process improvement initiatives using Warehouse Management Systems and other operational tools.
- Ensure compliance and safety: Conduct regular audits to ensure adherence to health, safety, customs, and company regulations, maintaining a safe and compliant working environment.
- Operate and maintain equipment safely: Safely operate and maintain warehouse equipment, including forklifts (Counterbalance, Reach, or Flexi/Bendi), to support day-to-day operations.
Qualifications & Skills
- Proven experience managing warehouse or logistics operations (3 years+)
- Strong knowledge of supply chain management, warehouse operations, and logistics best practices.
- Hands-on warehouse experience with the ability to safely lift and handle goods weighing 18–25kg.
- Forklift operation skills; valid certification preferred.
- Experience with Warehouse Management Systems and implementing process improvement initiatives.
- Excellent organisational, problem-solving, and leadership skills, with the ability to lead teams effectively in a fast-paced environment.
- Familiarity with multi-channel retail operations, including B2B, e-commerce, and retail fulfilment, is highly desirable.
