Overview
We are seeking enthusiastic and personable Bar Staff to join our vibrant team. This role offers an exciting opportunity to work in a lively hospitality environment, providing excellent service to our guests. The ideal candidate will be passionate about delivering memorable experiences, possess a friendly demeanour, and have a keen eye for detail. Previous experience in a similar setting is advantageous but not essential, as full training will be provided. All positions are paid, including internships, ensuring you are recognised for your contribution from the outset.
Duties
- Serve drinks and beverages efficiently and courteously to customers at the bar and tables
- Ensure all drinks are prepared according to standard recipes and presentation guidelines
- Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the bar area, including glassware and utensils
- Check identification to verify legal drinking age and adhere to licensing laws
- Handle cash and card transactions accurately using the POS system
- Restock bar supplies as needed and manage stock levels effectively
- Provide excellent customer service, addressing guest queries promptly and professionally
- Follow food safety regulations and health & safety procedures at all times
- Assist with setting up for events or functions as required
- Collaborate with team members to ensure smooth operation during busy periods
Skills
- Strong hospitality skills with a friendly, approachable manner
- Knowledge of food safety standards and responsible alcohol service
- Experience in serving or working within a restaurant or bar environment is desirable but not essential
- Good organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently
- Basic maths skills for handling transactions accurately
- Excellent time management to ensure prompt service during peak hours
- Ability to work well within a team and adapt quickly to changing priorities
- Personal presentation that reflects professionalism and attention to detail
