Due to continued growth and recent contract awards, we are looking to recruit a Multi-Skilled Operative to support our Facilities Management and Maintenance teams across a diverse range of commercial, public sector and educational properties.
This is an excellent opportunity for a practical, hands-on individual who enjoys a varied role and takes pride in delivering high-quality workmanship.
The Role
Reporting to the Operations Team, you will be responsible for carrying out a wide range of planned and reactive maintenance tasks across our client portfolio.
The successful candidate will support both our engineering teams and clients by undertaking general building fabric repairs, external maintenance works, compliance-related tasks and minor project activities.
No two days will be the same, making this an ideal role for someone who enjoys variety and problem-solving.
Key Responsibilities
- Gutter cleaning and roof-level maintenance activities.
- Building fabric repairs and general maintenance works.
- Minor joinery, plumbing and decorating tasks.
- Replacing ceiling tiles and carrying out minor internal repairs.
- External maintenance works including fencing, signage and grounds-related repairs.
- Assisting engineers with planned and reactive maintenance activities.
- Carrying out minor project and refurbishment works.
- Basic drainage and external cleaning activities.
- Ensuring works are completed safely and in accordance with company procedures.
- Completing job sheets, photographs and reports using company mobile technology.
- Maintaining excellent relationships with clients and site representatives.
Essential Requirements
- Experience within Facilities Management, Building Maintenance or Construction environments.
- Good practical maintenance and repair skills.
- Ability to work independently and manage workloads effectively.
- Strong customer service and communication skills.
- Full UK Driving Licence.
- Comfortable working at height when required.
- Positive attitude and willingness to undertake a variety of tasks.
Desirable Qualifications
- IPAF.
- PASMA.
- Working at Height Training.
- MEWP Experience.
- Joinery, Roofing or General Building Maintenance experience.
- First Aid Qualification.
- Experience working within commercial, education or public sector environments.

Working Hours
Monday – Thursday: 8:00am – 4:30pm
Friday: 8:00am – 1:00pm
