Little Einsteins Day Nursery Ltd - Wheatley in Doncaster, is seeking a friendly, dependable Caretaker to join our team.
This part‑time role, initially 8 hours per week, is suited to someone who takes pride in their work and is committed to supporting a warm, safe and well‑maintained nursery environment. You will provide essential practical support to ensure our indoor and outdoor spaces remain clean, safe and inviting for children, families and staff.
The role requires a practical, safety‑minded approach, with the ability to follow Health & Safety procedures, carry out basic maintenance tasks safely, and identify and report any hazards promptly.
Responsibilities
- Opening and closing the nursery when required, ensuring the premises are secure.
- Supervising contractors carrying out work outside of nursery hours.
- Maintaining clean, safe and child‑friendly outdoor areas.
- Completing minor repairs and small maintenance tasks.
- Replenishing everyday consumables.
- Assisting with any on‑site issues that arise during your shift.
- Supporting waste disposal and recycling procedures in line with nursery policies.
- Following all health and safety requirements to maintain a safe working environment.
- Full training will be provided.

Additional Information
This role is subject to satisfactory references and an Enhanced Disclosure and Barring Service (DBS) check.
We are also recruiting for the same position at our sister nursery in Denaby Main and would therefore consider applications to work across both sites.
