Responsibilities
- Operate various hand tools and power tools safely and effectively to assist in assembly processes.
- Follow detailed work instructions and production schedules to meet quality and efficiency targets.
- Conduct routine inspections of equipment and components, identifying any mechanical issues or defects.
- Assist with the assembly of products, ensuring all parts are correctly fitted and assembled according to specifications.
- Maintain a clean and organized workspace, adhering to health and safety regulations at all times.
- Support warehouse activities such as stock handling, inventory checks, and material movement as needed.
- Collaborate with team members to troubleshoot problems and improve production workflows for optimal output.
Skills
- Strong mechanical knowledge with the ability to understand technical drawings and assembly instructions.
- Proficiency in using hand tools such as screwdrivers, wrenches, pliers, and other manual tools.
- Experience operating power tools safely within a manufacturing or warehouse environment.
- Ability to perform assembly tasks accurately while maintaining attention to detail.
- Previous warehouse experience is advantageous for understanding inventory handling and logistics processes.
- Good communication skills and the ability to work effectively within a team-oriented setting.
