Job Title: Ground Worker

Role Overview
We are recruiting experienced Ground Workers to carry out excavation, pipework and reinstatement works across domestic and residential properties. This role is ideal for an experienced Ground Worker who is confident working independently and delivering high-quality workmanship while providing excellent customer service.
As a Ground Worker, you will be responsible for excavation and reinstatement works, laying and replacing pipework, and supporting water supply repair and maintenance projects. You will manage jobs independently while representing our client professionally in customers' homes.
Key Responsibilities:
- Carrying out excavation and reinstatement work
- Laying and replacing pipework
- Assisting with the repair and maintenance of water supply pipes
- Digging trenches and preparing ground for pipework installation
- Backfilling and reinstating excavated areas to a high standard
- Managing jobs independently from start to finish
- Working safely and efficiently on domestic properties
- Providing excellent customer service
Requirements:
- Proven experience as a Ground Worker or in a similar construction/water industry role
- Experience with excavation, pipework and reinstatement works
- Good understanding of safe working practices and site health and safety
- Ability to work independently and manage jobs effectively
- Strong customer service and communication skills
- Professional approach when working in customers' homes
- Full UK driving licence
