Job Summary
We are seeking an enthusiastic, reliable, and customer-focused Bar Manager / Bar Staff member for a one-day event in Frome.
This is a fantastic opportunity to work in a fun, fast-paced event environment, serving guests and helping to create a welcoming atmosphere. Whether you have previous experience behind a bar or are looking to build your hospitality skills, we are looking for someone with a positive attitude, professionalism, and a passion for great customer service.
A valid Personal Licence to sell alcohol is essential for this role.
Pay: £150 flat rate for the day
Successful applicants will be added to our trusted staffing list and may be offered future event work as opportunities arise.
Responsibilities
- Serve alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages efficiently and responsibly
- Deliver excellent customer service and ensure guests have a positive experience
- Maintain a clean, safe, and organised bar area throughout the event
- Monitor stock levels and assist with restocking as required
- Follow all licensing, health & safety, and hygiene regulations
- Handle cash and card transactions accurately where required
- Work effectively as part of the wider event team
- Assist with setting up and closing down the bar area
Requirements
- Valid Personal Licence to sell alcohol (essential)
- Previous bar, hospitality, restaurant, hotel, or event experience is preferred but not required
- Friendly, professional, and confident dealing with customers
- Strong communication and teamwork skills
- Ability to work efficiently in a busy event environment
- Reliable, punctual, and well-presented
- Positive attitude and willingness to get involved when needed
