Duties
- Lead and manage the entire kitchen operation, including food preparation, cooking, and serving processes
- Develop innovative menus that align with current culinary trends and customer preferences
- Supervise and train kitchen staff to ensure efficient workflow and high-quality food output
- Monitor food safety standards rigorously, ensuring compliance with health regulations and sanitation practices
- Oversee inventory management, ordering supplies, and controlling food costs to maximize profitability
- Collaborate with front-of-house teams to ensure seamless service delivery and guest satisfaction
- Maintain a positive work environment that encourages teamwork, creativity, and continuous improvement
Skills
- Extensive experience in food production, cooking, and food preparation within a restaurant or hospitality setting
- Proven management skills with supervising experience in a busy kitchen environment
- Strong leadership qualities with the ability to motivate and develop culinary teams
- Deep knowledge of food safety standards and sanitation procedures
- Excellent understanding of restaurant operations, including serving processes and customer service excellence
- Technical proficiency in culinary techniques, kitchen equipment operation, and menu development
- Barista experience is a plus, demonstrating versatility in beverage preparation alongside culinary skills
