We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Plumber/Gas Engineer to join our experienced team. This role is essential to the successful completion of various residential, commercial, and industrial projects, ensuring all plumbing and gas systems are installed, maintained, and repaired to the highest standards. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience working with a wide range of plumbing fixtures, pipe systems, and gas appliances, demonstrating a strong commitment to safety, quality, and efficiency. Responsibilities
· Install, repair, and maintain plumbing systems, including pipes, fixtures, and fittings.
· Install and service gas appliances and pipework in compliance with safety regulations.
· Diagnose and resolve plumbing and gas-related issues promptly and effectively.
· Ensure all work complies with local building codes, health and safety regulations.
· Collaborate with other construction professionals to integrate plumbing and gas systems within the overall project plan.
· Conduct regular inspections and testing of plumbing and gas installations to maintain safety and functionality.
· Maintain accurate records of work completed, materials used, and safety checks.
Requirements
· Proven experience as a Plumber and Gas Engineer in the construction industry.
· Relevant certifications and licenses, including Gas Safe registration or equivalent.
· Strong knowledge of plumbing systems, gas appliances, and relevant safety standards.
· Ability to read and interpret technical drawings, and specifications.
· Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
· Physical stamina and dexterity to perform manual labour in various environments.
· Good communication skills and the ability to work effectively within a team and work unsupervised.
Pay: £44,000.00 per year
