We're looking for an experienced, reliable and enthusiastic team member to join Blend Coffee & Bar.
This is a varied role, ideal for someone who enjoys both customer service and cooking. You'll be expected to confidently switch between front of house and the kitchen, helping deliver a fantastic experience for our customers from start to finish.
What you'll be doing
- Preparing and cooking our breakfast and lunch menu to a consistently high standard.
- Working independently in the kitchen during weekday shifts.
- Making speciality coffee and serving food and drinks.
- Providing outstanding customer service.
- Taking orders, handling payments and keeping the business running smoothly.
- Maintaining high standards of food hygiene, cleanliness and organisation.
- Supporting the wider team wherever needed.
Essential Requirements
- Previous experience working in a commercial kitchen.
- Must be 18+ to work within the kitchen and serve alcohol.
- Previous front of house experience in a cafe, coffee shop or hospitality environment.
- Confident working independently in the kitchen, including opening, service and closing duties.
- Ability to work efficiently under pressure while maintaining high standards.
- Friendly, approachable and professional with excellent customer service skills.
- A flexible, team-first attitude.
What we're looking for:
We're after someone who is genuinely passionate about hospitality. You'll be just as comfortable chatting to customers and making great coffee as you are preparing food in the kitchen.
This isn't a role where you'll only stay in one area—you'll be expected to be multi-skilled and happy to work wherever the business needs you.
