About The Neuro Medical Group
The Neuro Medical Group is an independent specialist healthcare provider delivering high-
quality, patient-centred services across neurology, ADHD and other specialist areas. As our
service continues to grow, we are looking for an experienced Independent Nurse Prescriber
(V300) to join our clinical team on a flexible self-employed basis.
The majority of consultations are delivered remotely via secure online platforms, providing
flexibility for both clinicians and patients. You will work alongside our experienced
multidisciplinary team, helping to deliver safe, effective and evidence-based prescribing
services.
About the Role
This role is primarily focused on the prescribing and ongoing management of ADHD
medication following specialist assessments. The successful candidate will also be expected
to prescribe and manage other medications within their professional competence and scope
of practice. We are looking for a confident clinician who is comfortable working
independently while maintaining excellent communication with the wider clinical team.
Key Responsibilities
Undertake predominantly online patient consultations.
Initiate, titrate and review ADHD medication in line with NICE guidance and best
practice.
Provide safe prescribing for other medications within your professional competence.
Monitor treatment effectiveness, side effects and patient outcomes.
Provide medication education and advice to patients.
Maintain accurate and contemporaneous electronic clinical records.
Liaise with GPs and other healthcare professionals where appropriate.
Work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team.
Maintain high standards of clinical governance and patient safety.
Essential Requirements
Registered Nurse with current NMC registration.
Independent Nurse Prescriber (V300) qualification.
Experience prescribing ADHD medication and managing medication titration.
Experience prescribing a range of other medications within your clinical scope of
practice.
Excellent clinical assessment and decision-making skills.
Ability to work independently in a remote environment.
Professional indemnity insurance suitable for self-employed practice.
Enhanced DBS certificate (or willingness to obtain one).
Desirable Experience
Experience working within private healthcare.
Experience in neurodevelopmental services or mental health.
Knowledge of ADHD shared care arrangements.
Experience using electronic patient record systems and video consultation platforms.
