What You’ll Do
Care That Transforms Lives
- Build positive and trusting relationships with children, creating a safe and welcoming environment.
- Support children by understanding their individual needs and helping them with their day-to-day activities and routines.
- Be a positive role model, encouraging and supporting children as they face challenges and celebrate their achievements.
- Assist in implementing care plans and working with families, schools, and professionals to ensure the best outcomes for the children.
Supporting the Team
- Work as part of a team to deliver high-quality care, ensuring the children’s needs are met consistently.
- Follow guidance and instructions from senior team members to support the smooth running of the home.
- Participate in team meetings and contribute ideas to improve care practices.
- Demonstrate our mission and values through your actions, ensuring they guide your work with children and colleagues.
Keeping Things Running Smoothly
- Help maintain accurate and up-to-date records, such as daily logs and incident reports.
- Follow health, safety, and safeguarding procedures to ensure the home operates to a high standard.
- Assist with daily tasks to ensure the home is a safe, clean, and nurturing environment for the children.
- Be proactive in learning and developing your skills to provide the best possible care for the children.
Qualifications and Education
· Level 3 Diploma Children and Children’s Workforce or equivalent. (or willingness to work towards).
