We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Qualified Nursery Practitioner to join our vibrant early childhood education team. The successful candidate will be responsible for providing high-quality care and education to young children, fostering their development in a safe, nurturing, and stimulating environment. Duties
- Plan and deliver engaging, age-appropriate activities that support children’s developmental milestones
- Supervise and ensure the safety of children at all times within the nursery setting
- Foster positive relationships with children, parents, and colleagues through effective communication
- Maintain accurate records of children's progress and daily activities
- Support children's emotional well-being and encourage independence
- Manage daily routines including meal times, playtimes, and nap times in accordance with nursery policies
- Lead and mentor junior staff members, promoting a collaborative team environment
- Ensure compliance with all health and safety regulations and nursery policies
- Organise outings and educational trips, ensuring all safety measures are adhered to
- Contribute to the ongoing development of nursery programmes and activities
Qualifications
- Proven experience working with children within a nursery or early childhood setting
- Relevant childcare qualifications such as NVQ Level 3 in Childcare or equivalent
- Strong management and leadership skills to oversee daily operations effectively
- Excellent communication skills in English, both verbal and written
- Knowledge of early childhood education principles and best practices
- Childcare experience including understanding of child development stages
- Ability to work collaboratively as part of a team while demonstrating leadership qualities

Pay: From £26,436.80 per year
