Overview
We are seeking a skilled and passionate Grill Chef to join our culinary team at hour shop inside Tooting Makert. Duties
- Prepare and cook a variety of grilled dishes according to established recipes and standards
- Ensure all food is prepared fresh, presented attractively, and served promptly
- Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the grill station and surrounding work areas
- Monitor food quality during preparation and cooking processes
- Follow all food safety regulations and hygiene procedures diligently
- Assist in menu planning and suggest new ideas for grilled dishes
- Collaborate with front-of-house staff to ensure smooth service delivery
- Manage stock levels, restock ingredients, and report shortages promptly
- Contribute to a positive team environment by supporting colleagues during busy periods
Qualifications
- Proven experience in food preparation and cooking, preferably within a restaurant setting
- Strong knowledge of culinary techniques related to grilling and meal preparation
- Familiarity with food safety standards and best practices in hygiene management
