Are you passionate about supporting children and young people to achieve positive outcomes? We're looking for dedicated, compassionate, and reliable Waking Night Children's Support Workers to join our growing team.
You'll be supporting children and young people within residential children's homes and supported living properties, providing high-quality care throughout the night to ensure their safety, wellbeing, and emotional support.
Your Role
As a Waking Night Children's Support Worker, you will:
- Provide overnight support to children and young people with emotional and behavioural difficulties (EBD) and challenging behaviours.
- Promote a safe, stable, and nurturing environment.
- Build positive and professional relationships with young people.
- Carry out regular welfare checks and complete accurate records.
- Respond calmly and professionally to incidents when required.
- Encourage independence and promote positive outcomes.
What We're Looking For
Essential Requirements:
- Minimum 6 months' care-related experience within the UK (required).
- A genuine passion for supporting children and young people.
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
- Ability to remain calm under pressure.
- Right to work in the UK.
