Manager (Coffee Bar)
About Us:
Tinderbox Espresso, Glasgows original independent coffee bar (Established 1998).
We are looking for an experienced Manager to join our team at Glagow Fort.
About You:
To be successful in this role you will need to have experience of successfully managing a similar outlet such as quick service restaurant, branded coffee shop or related industry. We are looking for people who have in-depth speciality coffee training.
Main responsibilities:
The ideal candidate will work closely with the company's leadership team and front-of-house to ensure that the shop runs smoothly and efficiently, including recruiting, training and scheduling.
You would also be responsible for ordering stock and maintaining the appropriate levels for the business demands. Also having experience in conducting stock takes is beneficial.
The right candidate is excited about creating and implementing marketing strategies to promote the café and increase customer traffic. They have excellent communication and organisational skills and experience in the health and safety regulations. They work well under pressure and can multitask effectively.

Minimum requirements:
- at least two years of experience in hospitality
- ability to commit to 8 - 10 hour shifts
- excellent interpersonal communication and conflict resolution skills
- a love of coffee, tea and pastries
- candidates with managerial experience preferred
