Job Summary
We are looking for a level 3 early years practitioner that will work in the rooms and help with administrative tasks In the office too.
We are seeking a dedicated and passionate Early Years Educator to join our childcare team. The successful candidate will be responsible for creating a safe, stimulating, and nurturing environment for young children, supporting their developmental needs through engaging activities and personalised care. This role offers an excellent opportunity to utilise your management and leadership skills whilst making a positive impact on children's early learning experiences.
Duties
- Plan and deliver age-appropriate educational activities that promote cognitive, social, and emotional development
- Supervise and support children during play, meal times, and rest periods
- Maintain a safe and clean environment in accordance with health and safety regulations
- Foster positive relationships with children, parents, and colleagues through effective communication
- Observe and assess individual children's progress, documenting developmental milestones
- Support children's behavioural development through consistent guidance and encouragement
- Assist with organising daily routines and special events within the nursery or childcare setting
- Contribute to the ongoing development of the curriculum in line with early childhood education standards
- Participate in team meetings, training sessions, and professional development activities
Experience
- Proven experience working with children in a nursery or early childhood education setting
- Demonstrated management and leadership skills within a childcare environment
- Knowledge of child development principles and early childhood education frameworks
- Excellent communication skills in English, both verbal and written
- Experience with childcare management systems is desirable
- Valid driving licence is advantageous for roles involving transportation responsibilities
