Role Overview:
As the Retail Marketing Executive, you will be responsible for executing strategic marketing initiatives to drive footfall, increase sales, and enhance brand visibility for our retail business across the TFS estate. You will ensure all POS and campaigns are launched in line with the trade calendar and support stores with local marketing.

ROLE:
The Fragrance Shop has over 220 stores across the UK, with an immersive Flagship store on Oxford Street, London. As a champion of all stores and everything retail marketing at The Fragrance Shop, you will:
Local Marketing:
- Analyse and share results of all localised campaigns and activities - from shopping centres to retail parks, to stores and outlets.
- Plan and execute new store opening strategies and launch events, to ensure each is a success.
- Organise hoarding and closure poster visuals for store opening and closures, along with managing PO's.
- Conduct store visits throughout the UK, to maintain an understanding of the competitor landscape and assess opportunities local marketing activities.
- Cultivate and maintain relationships with media outlets, retail teams and strategic partners to enhance brand visibility to drive engagement ensuring they have all the assets they need to advertise TFS on their channels.
- Collaborate cross-functionally with the wider marketing team, trade partnerships, merchandising, and store operations teams to ensure seamless integration and execution of all retail marketing initiatives.
- Stay abreast of emerging trends, technologies, and best practices in retail marketing, proactively recommending innovative approaches to enhance the effectiveness of marketing initiatives.
- Work closely with the retail Directors and Area managers to maintain a close relationship, supporting them where needed.
- Identify opportunities for micro marketing cross-regionally.
- Track and evaluate the performance of all store events, using insights to identify opportunities for improvement.
- Manage event requests from stores, providing support and guidance to deliver successful events.
- Collaborate with the Data Team to plan and execute trials across digital screens and in-store channels, using results to inform future activity.
Campaign Execution:
- Manage the upload of content to the digital screens across the estate ensuring correct and relevant content is live to support promotions and campaigns.
- Support with the planning of retail activity for campaigns.
- Ensure the business trade calendar is updated with all retail marketing plans.
- Plan and share localised retail marketing activity, including digital screens.
- Working with the campaign team respond and manage the POS requests from stores to ensure all assets are available.
- Ensure the POS audit is up to date, working with the retail teams to manage POS requirements for campaigns.
- Plan and deliver MyTFS member events throughout the year, ensuring each event is well-executed and delivers against its objectives.
SKILLS:
- Bachelor’s degree in marketing, Communications, Business or experience in a previous related role – this includes work experience roles.
- Understanding the importance of teamwork and collaborative working.
- Some retail experience is preferred.
- Ability to adapt quickly to changing priorities and requirements, with a proactive and solution-oriented approach.
- Creative thinker with a passion for developing innovative marketing ideas and strategies for retail.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively across teams and levels of the organization.
- Strong project management skills, with the ability to multitask and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
