SRM industries, a leading manufacturing of rubber mouldings with a large prestigious client base.
We are looking for a Health & Safety Quality Engineer to Join SRM Industries and help us maintain the high standards our customers expect. We’re looking for someone who enjoys problem‑solving, working with people, and keeping processes running smoothly.
What you’ll be doing
- Working with our Inspection team to make quality decisions and highlight improvement opportunities.
- Creating parts for new orders and setting up BOMs and routings.
- Preparing and submitting customer samples, including FAIR documentation (first article inspection reports)
- Investigating customer communication and producing clear, accurate reports.
- Logging supplier issues and ensuring corrective actions are completed.
- Supporting audits, calibration checks, compliance requests and supplier approvals.
What you’ll bring
- Previous experience in a manufacturing quality role.
- Confidence reviewing parts and making decisions.
- Strong communication and reporting skills.
- A proactive approach and willingness to learn additional quality system responsibilities.
- NEBOSH qualification is a bonus but not essential.
This is a hands on role where you could be in the factory gathering samples one minute and talking to customers the next so the ability to multi task is much needed.
Salary depending on experience; however we are prepared to consider applicants who are keen to learn and develop the role and their career path as well as candidates already experienced in this line of work.

Pay: £28,000.00-£30,000.00 per year
