Head Chef – Brunch Café (Daytime Hours)

Daytime hours – no late nights
We’re an established, fast-paced brunch café in Birmingham looking for a strong Head Chef to lead our kitchen.
This is a hands-on role in a busy service environment focused on high-quality brunch dishes, consistency, and speed.
What you’ll be doing:
- Running a busy brunch service (breakfast + lunch)
- Leading a small kitchen team
- Ensuring consistency across dishes (eggs, toast, grills, etc.)
- Managing prep, stock, and ordering
- Maintaining high hygiene and food safety standards
- Supporting menu improvements and seasonal updates
What we’re looking for:
- Strong experience
- Confident with high-volume service
- Solid breakfast/brunch experience (eggs, timing, plating)
- Organised, clean, and calm under pressure
- Good understanding of allergens & food safety (SFBB)
- Leadership mindset – ready to take ownership of a kitchen
