Store Manager
Location: Blackheath, B65 0NE
Hours: 37.5 hours per week
Salary: £27,027
Lead a high-performing charity shop where every sale helps directly fund care for those living with life limiting conditions.
We are looking for an experienced retail manager to join our award-winning retail team to manage our store in Blackheath. Working alongside an Assistant Manager and dedicated team of volunteers - this isn't just retail - it's retail with real purpose.
What you'll be doing:

Lead and manage the store team, including recruitment, training, and development.

Drive store performance through commercial decision making to achieve sales and profit targets.

Deliver exceptional customer service, building relationships with shoppers and donors.

Manage stock pricing, displays, and merchandising to company standards.

Ensure Health & Safety compliance in line with company policies.

Create staff rotas to ensure smooth operations across 7 trading days.

Support your retail team and volunteers, promoting teamwork and positive atmosphere

Use Microsoft Office and IT systems for cash handling, stock management, and financial processes
What we're looking for:

Previous retail management experience leading and managing teams

Experience recruiting, training, and developing team members

Proven track record achieving sales targets and leading teams to success

Strong communication and interpersonal skills

IT literacy, including Microsoft Office proficiency

Passion for retail and desire to contribute to meaningful cause
