Overview
We are seeking a reliable and hardworking General Labourer to join our team. We are a renewables energy company, who also work on general building works. Experience in loft insulation is highly desirable, however training can be given.
The ideal candidate will be physically fit, eager to learn, and committed to maintaining a safe and efficient working environment. You also must have excellent time keeping and a tidy approach to work.
Responsibilities
- Carrying out general manual labour tasks as directed
- Loft fit outs with insulation and ventilation measures
- Preparing work areas for specific projects or activities
- Ensuring health and safety protocols are adhered to at all times
- Assisting with minor maintenance tasks and repairs when required
- Supporting team members in completing daily operational duties efficiently
Qualifications
- Previous experience in a labouring or construction environment
- Good physical fitness and stamina for manual tasks and lifting heavy objects
- Ability to follow instructions accurately and work to specification
- Basic understanding of health and safety procedures in a manual labour setting
- Reliable, punctual, and committed to maintaining high standards of safety and quality
- A proactive attitude with willingness to learn new skills
- As part of our onboarding process you will be required to have a current DBS (within the last 3 months)
A full UK Driving Licence is required as you may be required to drive a company van. Must be able to get to Raby Mere, CH63 each morning.
You will be joining an established team who love a laugh but work hard. Hours vary depending on working location and some working away may be required but we keep that to a minimum.
You will be paid through the CIS scheme, £120 per day before CIS deductions.
We are looking for someone who can start immediately; we have plenty of work booked in and we just need the right person to come onboard.
