Job Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Dog Groomer to join our professional pet care team. Duties
- Bathing, drying, and brushing dogs to maintain cleanliness and coat health
- Trimming fur, nails, ears, and sanitary areas according to breed standards and client preferences
- Administering basic grooming treatments such as de-shedding or conditioning as needed
- Ensuring the safety and comfort of dogs during grooming procedures
- Maintaining a clean and organised grooming station, including sanitising tools and equipment after each use
- Providing exceptional customer service by discussing grooming needs and preferences with pet owners
- Managing appointment schedules efficiently to ensure timely service delivery
- Handling heavy lifting when necessary, such as lifting larger or heavier dogs onto grooming tables
Experience
- Previous experience in dog grooming is essential
- Strong understanding of animal behaviour and care procedures
- Experience in delivering excellent customer service within a pet care setting
- Ability to handle heavy lifting safely when required for larger breeds or equipment
- Passionate about animals with a gentle approach to handling dogs of all sizes and temperaments
