Job Overview:
Join our dynamic cookware brand as a Graphic Designer! We are looking for a creative, multi-talented designer who can bring innovative ideas to life through web design, packaging, photography, design layouts, and product design. The ideal candidate will play a pivotal role in developing the visual identity of our cookware products and enhancing the customer experience across multiple touchpoints. This is an exciting opportunity for someone with a passion for both design and the culinary world.
Responsibilities:
- 1. Web Design
- Design, maintain, and enhance the company’s website, ensuring it reflects our premium brand while providing an intuitive, user-friendly shopping experience
- Collaborate with developers to create mobile-responsive, SEO-friendly designs.
- Create custom visuals, banners, and icons for the website, landing pages, and digital marketing campaigns.
- 2. Packaging Design
- Develop innovative, functional, and eco-friendly packaging designs for cookware products that reflect the brand's values and appeal to our target customers.
- Collaborate with product development and manufacturing teams to ensure packaging is both visually compelling and functional.
- Work with suppliers and vendors to oversee the production and quality of packaging materials.
- 3. Photography
- Style, shoot, and edit high-quality product photography for the website, social media, and marketing materials.
- Capture lifestyle images of cookware in use, helping to tell the brand’s story and engage our audience.
- Edit and enhance images to ensure consistency and alignment with brand guidelines.
- 4. Design Layouts
- Create eye-catching design layouts for print and digital marketing collateral including brochures, catalogues, email campaigns, social media graphics, and promotional materials.
- Collaborate with the marketing team to produce on-brand visuals that effectively communicate the product’s value and appeal.
- 5. Product Design Support
- Assist the product development team by designing or refining the visual aspects of cookware items, such as colours, textures, and patterns.
- Create digital mock-ups, sketches, or 3D renders of new product ideas to visualize concepts before production.
- Ensure product design aligns with both user experience and manufacturing constraints.
- 6. Brand Development
- Contribute to the ongoing development and evolution of the brand’s visual identity, ensuring all design elements are cohesive and consistently represent the company’s values.
- Maintain and update brand guidelines as necessary.
Skills:
- Degree educated
- 3+ years of experience in graphic design and/or web design with a focus on consumer goods, packaging, or related fields.
- Proficient in design software including Adobe Creative Suite (Illustrator, Photoshop, InDesign), Figma, or other relevant tools.
- Experience in product photography, lighting, and post-editing (Lightroom or equivalent).
- Strong understanding of typography, colour theory, and design principles.
- Familiarity with web design principles and experience working on e-commerce platforms.
- Knowledge of packaging materials and printing processes.
- Excellent attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple projects in a fast-paced environment.
Preferred Skills:
- Experience in UX/UI design, especially for e-commerce websites.
- Familiarity with cookware or kitchen-related product design is a plus.
- Knowledge of 3D design or CAD software for product prototyping.
- Understanding of sustainable packaging solutions.
