We're recruiting for a Pharmacy Manager to lead a busy, well-established community pharmacy. The Role
As the Pharmacy Manager, you will be the clinical and operational leader of the pharmacy, ensuring exceptional patient care while overseeing the day-to-day running of the business. You'll play a key role in developing clinical services, mentoring your team, and identifying opportunities to enhance the pharmacy's offering within the local community.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead and develop clinical services, including the New Medicine Service (NMS) and a busy Travel Clinic, delivering vaccinations and expert travel health advice.
- Manage, mentor, and motivate a team of pharmacists, pharmacy technicians, dispensers, and counter staff, creating a positive and high-performing working environment.
- Oversee all pharmacy operations, including dispensing, stock management, cost control, and compliance with GPhC and NHS regulations.
- Drive business performance by identifying opportunities to expand NHS and private services.
- Deliver outstanding clinical care and build strong relationships with patients, maintaining the excellent reputation of the pharmacy.
About You
To be successful in this role, you'll have:
- Current registration with the General Pharmaceutical Council (GPhC).
- Previous experience managing a community pharmacy or strong leadership experience within a pharmacy setting.
- Experience delivering NMS and Travel Clinic services, or a willingness to complete training immediately.
- Excellent leadership and people management skills.
- Strong communication skills with a proactive, commercial approach.
- A genuine passion for delivering exceptional patient care.
