Overview
We are seeking a motivated and reliable PCV (Passenger Carrying Vehicle) Bus Driver to join our team at SKY Livingston, operating from Monday through Friday, 3pm till 11pm. This vital role involves safely transporting passengers along designated routes, ensuring punctuality, and providing excellent customer service. The ideal candidate will possess strong driving skills, and a commitment to safety and professionalism. Based at the SKY campus in Livingston you will be transporting staff members to and from work in our brand new fleet of Electric buses. This would be a full time position Monday to Friday, 38 hours per week, plus occasional overtime.
We are looking for a driver who:
- Loves to provide an excellent level of customer service
- Can be a clear communicator and engage with passengers
- Is able to follow a timetable and deliver our passengers safely to their destination
- Can ensure our passengers are safe at all times
- Can be a team player
- Is willing to go the extra mile
- Have good communication skills
- Have a clean drivers licence with 12 months’ experience
- Is PCV and CPC qualified

Duties
- Safely operate the PCV bus along scheduled routes, adhering to traffic laws and company policies
- Conduct pre-trip inspections to ensure vehicle safety, including checking brakes, lights, tires, and fluid levels
- Communicate clearly with passengers, providing information about stops and route details in English
- Maintain cleanliness and basic maintenance of the bus to ensure a comfortable ride for all passengers
- Assist passengers with boarding and alighting, especially those with mobility challenges or special needs
- Complete all required logs, reports, and documentation related to vehicle condition and passenger counts
- Respond promptly to any on-road incidents or emergencies by following established safety procedures
Requirements
- Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record
- Strong communication skills in English for effective interaction with passengers and team members
- Knowledge of traffic laws, safety regulations, and best practices for passenger transport
- Ability to work Monday through Friday with flexibility for occasional schedule adjustments if needed
- Prior experience operating a PCV or similar passenger vehicle is highly desirable
