We are seeking a professional, reliable, and customer-focused Night Resident Service Agent to join our team at a leading build-to-rent development in the centre of Reading.
This role is central to ensuring the smooth overnight operation of the building. Acting as the primary point of contact during night hours, you will provide a consistent and reassuring presence for residents while maintaining a safe, secure, and well-managed environment.
Key Responsibilities
You will take ownership of the front desk overnight, ensuring a professional and welcoming environment while managing resident enquiries and maintaining high service standards.
A major focus of the role is maintaining the safety and security of the development. This includes conducting regular patrols of the building, monitoring CCTV systems, identifying any risks or issues, and taking appropriate action where needed.
You will be responsible for managing and recording all overnight activity, including resident concerns, maintenance issues, and any operational incidents. Clear and accurate reporting is essential to ensure effective handover to the daytime team.
The role also supports the wider operation of the building, including assisting with out-of-hours resident check-ins and check-outs, completing property condition reports, and responding to overnight leasing enquiries by capturing and logging prospect information.
About you
The successful candidate will be confident working independently and able to make sound decisions in a calm and professional manner. You will have strong attention to detail, excellent communication skills, and a proactive approach to problem solving.
Experience in a customer-facing, hospitality, property, or security-based role is advantageous, but most important is a professional attitude and a strong sense of responsibility.
