J Webb & Co. is one of the UK's longest-established medico-legal consultancies, with over 40 years working with the country's leading law firms on personal injury and clinical negligence cases. We work with a small, carefully selected team of OT expert witnesses, and we're looking for our next.
What the role involves
You'll assess clients who have sustained catastrophic injuries and produce care reports used in personal injury and clinical negligence proceedings. One initial local assessment per case, everything else is done remotely, on your own schedule.
This is an established route into medico-legal and expert witness work. No previous medico-legal experience is required. Full training, mentorship and support are provided from day one.

Who we're looking for
- Minimum 6 years post-qualification experience as an OT
- Currently working with clients who have sustained catastrophic injuries, including brain injury, spinal cord injury, amputation, complex orthopaedics, polytrauma, cerebral palsy or birth injury
- Experienced in recommending, implementing and reviewing long-term community care packages
- Able to accommodate around 6–8 hours per week alongside your existing role
- No previous medico-legal or expert witness experience required
