About the Role – Mobile Social Housing Engineer
This is a full-time, permanent role covering multiple sites across London. You’ll primarily be responsible for delivering high-quality electrical work within the social housing sector, including maintenance, upgrades, and full rewires.
A full UK driving licence is required, as travel across various locations is part of the role.
What We Offer
Hours: Monday to Friday, 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM
Salary: £45,000 – £50,000 per annum
Holidays: 28 days (including bank holidays)

Key Responsibilities
- Carrying out reactive maintenance in occupied and void properties
- Performing full rewires and domestic electrical upgrades
- Ensuring all works meet current regulations and safety standards
- Communicating clearly with tenants, clients, and colleagues
Requirements
- Relevant electrical qualifications – 18th Edition preferred
- 2391/2390 Inspection & Testing qualification (advantageous)
- Prior experience in a similar role, ideally within social housing
- Full UK driving licence
- Valid ECS/CSCS card
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Excellent time management and organisational abilities
- Ability to work independently and manage your own workload
