We are seeking a Supervisor to join our small place baby room from September 2026, working 38 hours per week between 7.15am and 6.30pm. Enjoy a fantastic 4 day working week with one day off per week to maintain a great work-life balance. Working with babies aged 3 months to two years.
You will work as part of a small team to ensure high standards of care and education are provided to the children.
Previous experience of working in a senior position in a baby room or as an Ofsted registered Childminder is desirable. Or perhaps you have proven yourself as a strong Practitioner in a baby room and now feel ready to take the next steps into a more senior position? Either way, we are seeking someone with great leadership skills who will be able to support the room leader and lead the baby room on the shifts she does not work, ensuring the continued outstanding care of our babies. You will have knowledge of the EYFS, child development principles and safe practices for under two's and knowledge of current legislation. You will have good written and verbal communication skills as well as knowledge of safeguarding children. You will have a valid Level 3 childcare qualification as a minimum. You must be willing to complete additional training as part of your induction.
This position is subject to suitable references and an enhanced DBS check being carried out unless you are already on the update service.
At Squirrel Lodge Nursery we encourage creativity and lots of fun! If you are looking for an inspiring place to work, you have patience, empathy, and a genuine passion for working with the under twos, please get in touch. We look forward to hearing from you soon.
