Female Care Assistant – Brighton & Hove
Cheriton Homecare is looking for a kind, reliable and professional Female Care Assistant to join our friendly local care team, supporting clients in their own homes across Brighton & Hove, including Saltdean, Portslade, Hove, Bevendean and surrounding areas.
This role is ideal for someone who is caring, patient and passionate about helping people remain safe, comfortable and independent at home.
We have full-time and part-time hours available, with weekend availability required. Evening calls may also be available for applicants who would like additional hours.
Due to the nature of the role and the personal care needs of our clients, this position is for a female carer as a genuine occupational requirement.

What we are looking for:
- A kind, caring and reliable person
- Weekend availability
- A full UK driving licence and access to a car is preferred
- Evening availability is desirable but not essential
- Someone who takes pride in providing high-quality care
- Previous care experience is helpful, but not essential as training can be provided
Your role will include supporting clients with personal care, companionship, meal preparation, medication prompts, light household tasks, and helping clients remain independent in their own homes.
