We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Food and Beverage Manager to join our New Forest Collection team. As the Food and Beverage Manager at Bartley Lodge Hotel, you will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of our food and beverage operations, including managing a team of food and beverage assistants and supervisors. You will work closely with our Head Chef and Wedding & Events Executive to ensure that our guests have an exceptional dining experience whether here for business, pleasure or one of the many weddings and events we host.
- Manage and train a team of Food and Beverage Assistants and Supervisors
- Monitor inventory and order supplies as needed
- Manage budgets for food and beverage operations
- Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations
- Oversee the scheduling of staff
- Handle customer complaints and resolve conflicts
- Ensure that all food and beverage offerings meet or exceed guest expectations
- At least 3 years of experience in a similar role
- Strong leadership and management skills
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Knowledge of food and beverage industry trends and best practices
- Experience with inventory management and budgeting
- Ability to work under pressure and in a fast-paced environment
- Good understanding of health and safety regulations
- A degree or diploma in Hospitality Management or a related field is preferred
