Job Summary

Responsibilities
- Prepare and serve a variety of hot and cold beverages, including coffee, tea, and specialty drinks.
- Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the café area, including equipment and utensils.
- Assist in food preparation, ensuring adherence to food safety standards.
- Engage with customers to take orders, provide recommendations, and ensure satisfaction.
- Handle cash transactions accurately and efficiently.
- Manage time effectively during busy periods to ensure timely service.
- Uphold high standards of food safety and hygiene practices at all times.
- Collaborate with team members to create a positive work environment.
Requirements
- Basic maths skills for handling cash transactions and managing orders.
- Experience in food preparation is advantageous but not essential.
- Strong time management skills to handle multiple tasks efficiently during peak hours.
- A friendly disposition with a willingness to help customers and colleagues alike.
- Knowledge of food safety practices is preferred but can be learned on the job.
- Previous experience as a Barista or in a similar role is beneficial but not mandatory.
