Role Details:
The Band 5 Physiotherapist will work within the Adult Cystic Fibrosis multidisciplinary team, providing assessment, treatment and ongoing management of adults with CF, Bronchiectasis and PCD across inpatient and outpatient settings. The role involves delivering evidence-based respiratory physiotherapy, airway clearance, exercise assessment and rehabilitation, while managing a delegated caseload under the supervision of senior CF physiotherapists.
The Successful Candidate Will:
· Diploma/Degree in Physiotherapy
· HCPC registered
· Good understanding of and ability to work closely with other members of the multi-disciplinary team
· Knowledge of respiratory assessment and treatment techniques, including airway clearance.
.Previous experience working with patients with Cystic Fibrosis, bronchiectasis or other chronic respiratory conditions.
· Participation in audit, service improvement or quality improvement projects.
· Have experience with EMIS
.Experience of exercise testing and exercise prescription.
.Experience of making discharge decisions and supporting efficient discharge processes.
In addition to experience, all Qualified roles will be required to provide evidence of:
· Relevant Qualifications
· Registration with the relevant Registration Body if applicable.
