Pasty Shop Team Member – Paignton Pier
Join our friendly team at our pasty shop on Paignton Pier!
We're looking for a reliable and enthusiastic team member to help run our busy pasty shop. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys working independently, takes pride in their work, and enjoys providing excellent customer service.
Hours:
- 2 days per week
- Between 6 and 10 hours per week
- Additional hours may be available during busy periods and school holidays and holidays cover.
Key Responsibilities:
- Baking and preparing pasties each morning
- Opening the shop and ensuring it is ready for trading
- Serving customers and handling payments
- Keeping the shop clean, organised, and well-stocked throughout the day
- Completing end-of-day cleaning and closing procedures
- Securing the shop at the end of the day
- Providing friendly and efficient customer service
About the Role:
You will be responsible for opening and closing the shop and will work independently on most days, taking ownership of the day-to-day operation of the shop. Additional support will be available during busy periods and peak trading times.
What We're Looking For:

- Friendly and customer-focused
- Able to work efficiently in a busy environment
- Previous retail, hospitality, or food service experience is beneficial but not essential, as full training will be provided
