Responsibilities of the Registered Nurse
- Deliver comprehensive nursing care to residents by assessing their conditions and implementing individualized care plans.
- Educate residents and their families about health conditions, treatment options, and post-discharge care instructions.
- Monitor patient progress closely, adjusting care strategies as needed to optimize outcomes.
- Maintain accurate documentation of resident assessments, treatments, and progress notes in compliance with healthcare regulations.
- Demonstrate strong leadership by supervising junior staff and supporting team collaboration.
- Manage time effectively to prioritize urgent needs while maintaining attention to detail across multiple patients.
Skills of the Registered Nurse
- Proven leadership abilities to guide and motivate healthcare teams effectively.
- Have a valid NMC Pin
- Solid foundation in nursing principles, including infection control, medication administration, and patient safety protocols.
- Experience developing and updating care plans tailored to individual resident needs.
- Excellent communication skills to clearly convey information to residents, families, and colleagues.
- Strong time management skills to handle multiple responsibilities efficiently in a busy environment.
