Job Summary
We are seeking a experienced friendly and professional Bartender/Server (age 25+) to join our vibrant hospitality team. The ideal candidate will deliver exceptional customer service, prepare and serve beverages and food, and ensure a welcoming environment for all guests. Responsibilities
- Greet guests warmly and take their orders accurately for drinks and food.
- Prepare and serve a variety of beverages, including cocktails, spirits, wines, and non-alcoholic options.
- Serve food items promptly while maintaining high standards of presentation.
- Ensure all health and safety regulations, including food safety standards, are adhered to at all times.
- Maintain cleanliness of the bar and dining areas throughout shifts.
- Manage cash register operations, process payments efficiently, and handle tips professionally.
- Provide knowledgeable recommendations on drinks and menu items to enhance guest experience.
- Collaborate with team members to ensure smooth service during busy periods.
Requirements
- Previous experience in hospitality, particularly in serving or bartending roles, is preferred.
- Knowledge of food safety regulations and best practices within the hospitality industry.
- Strong skills in serving guests with professionalism and courtesy.
- Basic maths skills for handling transactions accurately.
- Excellent time management abilities to prioritise tasks effectively during busy hours.
- Good organisational skills to maintain a clean and efficient workspace.
- Friendly demeanour with the ability to connect with diverse guests.
- A valid certificate or training in food safety is desirable but not essential. Pay: £12.21-£14.00 per hour
