About Us
Boss Pizza is looking for a motivated, reliable and experienced Assistant Manager to join our team in Milton Keynes. This is an excellent opportunity for someone with experience in the fast-food or hospitality industry who enjoys leading a team, delivering excellent customer service and ensuring the smooth day-to-day running of the store.
Key Responsibilities
- Support the Store Manager with the daily operation of the restaurant.
- Lead, motivate and supervise team members during each shift.
- Ensure all food is prepared and served to the highest quality standards.
- Maintain excellent customer service and resolve customer concerns professionally.
- Train, coach and develop new and existing team members.
- Create a positive, productive and professional working environment.
- Assist with staff rotas and shift planning.
- Monitor stock levels, place orders and reduce waste.
- Ensure compliance with food hygiene, health and safety, and company procedures.
- Complete opening and closing procedures, including cash handling and daily reports.
- Help achieve sales targets, control labour costs and improve store performance.
- Step into the Store Manager's role when required.
Requirements
- Previous experience as an Assistant Manager, Shift Manager or Team Leader in a fast-food, pizza, restaurant or hospitality environment.
- Strong leadership and communication skills.
- Ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment.
- Excellent organisational and problem-solving skills.
- Experience with cash handling, stock management and staff supervision.
- Flexible to work evenings, weekends and bank holidays.
- A positive attitude and commitment to delivering outstanding customer service.
