Orka Financial is currently partnering with a global business based in West Drayton who is looking to recruit an Accounts Assistant to join the team. The Accounts Assistant will report to the Finance Manager. This role primarily will assist in the month-end close process, ensuring all deadlines are met, taking full control of the intercompany relationships and cash management whilst ensuring company policies are adhered to.
Duties include,
Full control of intercompany reconciliations
Ensure that creditor & debtor balances remain at a minimum with all countries
Deal with any invoice queries
General Ledger - Process month end journals including payroll journals
Maintain balance sheet reconciliations, making appropriate adjustments as needed
Complete bank reconciliation, daily and monthly
Prepare weekly cash forecast
Cover for AP / AR when necessary
The role requires someone with a solid grounding in finance and has proficient IT skills. You will be comfortable working under pressure in a fast-paced environment and have good organisational skills with the ability to prioritise effectively and manage own workload. A good communicator is required with the ability to engage with all stakeholders confidently and credibly.
The role is based in West Drayton and operates hybrid working. Salary is up to £36000 DOE
