Are you a caring, patient and dedicated individual looking for a rewarding career? We are seeking enthusiastic Support Workers to join our friendly team in a residential home supporting adults with learning disabilities to live fulfilling, independent and meaningful lives.
No two days are the same. As a Support Worker, you will play a vital role in helping individuals achieve their goals, build confidence and participate fully in their community.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide person-centred care and support tailored to individual needs.
- Assist with daily living activities, including personal care, meal preparation and household tasks.
- Support residents to access community activities, appointments and social opportunities.
- Encourage independence, choice, dignity and respect.
- Build positive relationships with residents, families and healthcare professionals.
- Maintain accurate records and complete required documentation.
- Follow safeguarding procedures and promote the wellbeing of all individuals supported.
- Work as part of a team to create a safe, supportive and inclusive environment.
What We're Looking For

- Commitment to promoting equality, diversity and inclusion.
- Previous experience in care or support work is desirable but not essential, as full training will be provided.
- We are currently recruiting for both full time and part time positions.
Essential Requirements
- Right to work in the UK.
- Willingness to work shifts, including evenings, weekends and bank holidays as required.
- Enhanced DBS check (Fully funded but is required before employment can commence).
- Due to the location of The Leys your own transport is recommended
