Responsibilities
- Greet guests warmly and guide them through the menu with enthusiasm, highlighting specials and upselling opportunities to enhance their experience
- Take accurate food and beverage orders, ensuring timely communication with kitchen staff for efficient service
- Serve food and drinks professionally, maintaining high standards of presentation and cleanliness throughout the process
- Assist in food preparation when needed, supporting kitchen staff to ensure quality and safety standards are met
- Maintain knowledge of food safety regulations and uphold hygiene standards at all times
- Manage guest inquiries and resolve issues promptly to ensure satisfaction and foster positive relationships
- Support in managing the dining area by clearing tables, resetting stations, and ensuring a welcoming environment
Experience
- Previous experience in hospitality or restaurant settings is highly preferred, demonstrating familiarity with serving procedures and guest services
- Knowledge of food safety practices and basic food preparation techniques is advantageous
- Strong time management skills to handle multiple tables efficiently during busy periods
- Experience with upselling techniques to maximize sales while enhancing guest satisfaction
- Ability to work well under pressure in a fast-paced environment while maintaining a positive attitude
- Basic math skills for handling bills, payments, and order calculations
- Kitchen experience or culinary background is a plus but not required; willingness to learn on the job is essential
